depends on other supporting mods you have, if full exhaust expect at least 15hp gain (conservatively)

If you want your engine to be covered by the warranty, leave it stock until it runs out . ECU (DME) flashes are irreversible, and will always be detected. And no, you'd NEVER win a lawsuit in court against BMW for tampering with the DME, so just understand the risk . Good luck.

I wrote over my Evolve tune with a stock tune. Dealer couldn't tell. That's the beauty of the Evolve-R!

Our tune for the E9X M3 has been available for awhile. Typical gains on a stock car are around 15 whp.

exactly.. with the evolve tune you have the cable and the entire stock file .. and you can write it back to the DME whenever you want to take it in to the dealer for some serious work ..

I've got the ESS tune with the akra and love the setup. Driveability is greatly improved from stopsign to stopsign in the city, or open lapping for 30 minutes in 90 degree heat. I'm happy

I had the OE Tune on my e92 and loved every second of it, customer service was top notch. Will continue using them for all my future cars also.

BTW,the dealer cant find the aftermarket tune unless the factory rep is there since hes got his laptop with a special software to do things that the dealer isnot capable of doing .Also when the code is found in the ECU ,it has to get sent to Germany for verification first before voiding ur warranty.

So can i state:

Evolve R= Reliable! (more practical)
OE= Aggrissive! (most gains)
Ess= conservative? (more to safe tune)

Just like to add that our changes are more geared towards the optimal but safe side rather than pushing and forcing ignition timing. Rather we use a blend of minimal ignition changes combined with changing the valve opening and closing event (Cam timing) and changes to the torque calculations so everything is balanced.

A little more finesse than brute force

Oh, and the evolve-R just makes everyone's life easy at a reasonable cost.

Since the DCT already shifts at a lightning quick speed, how is a tuned DCT any better in terms of feel, daily drivability and performance?

Don't know hoe they do it but they seem to be able to run the DCT cooler so it doesn't go into limp mode.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

Stock AFR's.

They AFR does not need to be changed.

You can go slightly leaner and gain a small amount of HP but it's really not worth the risk.

Any tuner who logs EGT's on prolonged high rpm full load driving will know not to do this. For the sake of a dyno run... it gives more power until temperatures start rising.

Or by just changing the temperature compensation maps or turning off the fault codes.

You cannot make the DCT run cooler unless you fit additional or better oil coolers like the race cars have.
