As the Predisent, I will put in place the following process for the club to pick its logo:
1. Mantis develops his version further. 2. We come up with at least another alternative (3 is a better number to chose from). 3. When they are finalized, I will start a poll with all the alternatives club members can vote for. So far we have: |

P.S. I like the idea of trying different colors for the letters, what you were trying earlier. Messing with background colors would be good, too. I'm out of time on this one... |

Yes, I'm likely this a whole lot for an avatar!

Great shot! Could you add the letters CLUB and 6MT like you did on the later versions (letters in blue would be great) to this first attempt. Guess that'd be my favourite.
Best regards, south

I think this is cool for a siggy, but I like Lucid's "clean" version for an avatar. You could replace the square portion on the far left of your current siggy with this charcoal one and I think it would look cool. PS the two E92 images on the right with JzB, IB, SSII, etc and you could crank out a whole family of siggies that are personalized to the owner's car color

I think the stock throw length is a bit long. I'd prefer a slightly shorter throw length with a shorter lever/knob to enable quicker more precise shifts. The only part of the console interfering is the i-drive controller. i do occasionally get a slight "brushing" of my forearm when shifting in-and-out of the even gears. nothing too irritating though, but if you have something on the i-drive monitor, this may cause a change in the selection. eg i-pod song toggle. as far as i know, we shouldn't be resting our hands on the gear knob as this may cause some mechanical abrasions within the gears, so i try not to have my shifting arm near the console area when not changing gears (ie both hands on the s-wheel or my shifting arm on the arm rest). how about yourself? any views on the throw length and knob travel distance? cheers Last edited by edlms; 03-01-2008 at 12:10 PM.. Yeah, nice, only I think a font other than Times Roman (something more contemporary) would be better.

Personally I prefer that font as it's more in keeping with the M badge.

The logo idea is genius guys...
I hope you founding fathers don't mind me adding the logo to my sig. This was my favorite version because I think that the positioning of the letters mimics the pattern on the stick better. I'll post up pics of the 3rd pedal hopefully in less than a month!
