Mode Carbon GTS Lip: V1 or V2?

I've installed the Mode Carbon V1 GTS lip. I also have the splitter that goes underneath to make it a V2.

Place your vote: Keep it a V1, or turn it into a V2?

V1

V2

V1 for me. I prefer lips that don't stick too far out to the front. Not to mention V1 is probably more practical and less likely to get destroyed.

I'd say V2 so that it protects the upper lip on the bottom

I run the V1 and love it. It looks a little cleaner than the V2 IMO. Either one would look good on your car though

To play devil's advocate, the splitter would protect the V1. If the spliiter gets damaged, V1 still pristine.

GT4 would be too low for my car I think. In the pic I posted, the splitter should come out a bit more. I didn't line it up well. You can see how the ends of the lip and splitter aren't lined up. Never thought about pulling it out even further though. Wonder how that'd look...

Yeah that's what Sam@ModeCarbon was telling me. Hey, are you still interested in my arkym lip?

Yeah, good point. The V1 does sit lower than the arkym lip I previously ran.

I do like how clean the V1 looks, but also like how the V2 makes it look a bit more aggressive. #1stWorldProblems

haha, you know me well. Yes, I'll ultimately decide on my own, but am curious what others think. You know, sometimes others spin an angle you've never considered

V1 looks like a OEM BMW part. Clean and complete.
V2 not feelin the gap between the two, looks too busy.
Stick with the V1...

To be fair to Mode Carbon, the gap you see in the V2 pics is due to the spliiter being held in place by just the blue tape.
