There's only a few truly exclusive marques you would expect to not be able to negotiate on and LR is certainly not one of them.
a few people made an attempt at an insult, but it seems like most people actually agree with me and my views. thanks for the backup though

They use to be hot, they are not any more. There are dealers in NJ with 30 on the lot. I wouldn't touch one unless there was a sizable discount. Ask the dealer what he will give you in 3 months with 1000 miles on it.

The demand has caught up and for a car with nothing but issues, I'd run from owning one. Go get something reliable at a better price.

While I had very good luck with a LR3 (no mechanical or electrical problem at all for the entire 5 years of ownership.) I have since found out my experience was not the norm.

My neighbor picked up a Range Rover Sport last year and it has spent 4+ months in the dealership for a variety of repairs and waiting for parts. Luckily, they kept their 2003 Lexus LS450 which is still going strong.

True, my aunts and friend has a range rover sport and it seems to be spent more time at the shop than on the road.
