I was looking for an unbiased opinion on an e36 M3 since I was lloking to see if it would be a good buy. How expensive was it to maintain, if you dont mind sharing? Also, If I were to find a well maintained example with less than 100K miles how much could one cost in maintenance?

I was toying with the idea of getting an E46 M3 Coupe for a little while. I then reminded myself that I want 6MT, low miles (no higher than 30k), without the technology and this is near impossible to find. I also reminded myself that I am a 22 year old student with no income and wouldn't be able to afford the extra gas, insurance, and maintenance costs associated with the car. So I vetoed that idea.
