I'm confused why you are asking me to "see above" when I correctly answered the question about what the 4.5k rpm limit is

See above, about Mike saying removing cold start, raising rev limit and removing top speed limiter is sure fire way to void the warranty

Im not sure why removing the Top Speed Limiter would void the warranty, BMW themselves offer the removal of the TSL right on there Options list on there Build your car list.

Hmm. Good point. Dinan does too, IIRC.

Ok...but I was clarifying what the "4.5k rpm" was and not whether resetting the cold-start rpm limit had a possible effect on warranty issues. Also, adjusting the cold-start rpm is different from turning the cold start off.

If flashed back to stock, resetting the rev limit and speed limiter are the two parameters that will leave data in the shadow memory (if max stock values are exceeded this clearly shows the DME was altered). Turning the cold start on and off, and changing the startup rpm, won't leave info stored in the shadow memory so a serious "forensic analysis" of the DME would be required to potentially find traces of a tune - not something the dealership is capable of doing.

The 1M bumper is definitely an attractive addition. If I wasn't so lazy, I would have had pics of mine from over a year ago up.
