Owner Feedback: Encore Innovation Ti Exhaust

I have an Eisenmann Sport. Looking for something a little louder, and I have a chance to trade for the EI Ti Exhaust. I have a few questions about this exhaust first.

1. Quality? I think Eisenmann has terrific quality and their outlets look fantastic coming out the rear. How does the EI compare?

2. Sound? Compared to the Eisenmann race, is it louder, more quite or roughly similar?

3. Fitment? The single-can Fitment of the Eisenmann product is exactly like stock. I would definitely not want any fitment issues.

4. Performance? If any? I read on their website that the system weighs only 18 pounds vs 51 for the stock mufflers. A savings of 33 pounds from an axle-back only is pretty impressive.

Thanks for all your help. I don't want this to be a Eisenmann vs EI thread. I own the Eisenmann and just need a few comparison facts so I can get a better idea of the product.

Don't do it...... Get the Fabspeed Xpipe that removes the secondary cats. You will get a throatier tone with no drone at all. Plus a 15hp power increase.

The Encore Ti is a crapshoot because you may wind up with drone.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it!!

That's a good idea, but I don't want to spend any more money, and I don't want to cut any stock piping so I'd have to get the HFCs.
How would the fabspeed set-up sound with the stock exhaust?

I would suggest sending a PM to J083. HE has the Fabspeed X-pipe and Eis Sport exhaust. I am sure he would be able to answer your questions.

check the background of the seller of the product you want to buy first. you may find empty record, no history or worst.

I've spoken to him, he went with the AA axle back cuz the ES was still too quiet with the fabspeed setup.

Are there no opinions of the EI exhaust?

The ei drones more than the eisen race IMO. Just a personal opinion after sitting in both. I couldn't handle the resonance at low rpms or else I'd be rocking an ei exhaust. It sounds vicious at higher rpms though, they both do. The only advantage of the ei is ti, I like the eisen race more out of the two.

HREM3-

I think your best bet is to go for the Race and if possible trade your sport for it. I don't think AA will add enough volume for you with stock x-pipe and no cat deletes. Plus it won't cost you anything to trade and if you decide it's too loud you'll be able to sell the Race for the same pice you would sell your Sport for. The Eisenmann sound is great and you already know you like it. Race will just be louder version of the same sound.

You won't be disappointed with the Fabspeed setup. People with the Fabspeed and Encore x-pipe/HFC have said they hear great improvements in sound/performance with the stock muffler on. If you want a more aggressive sound though, go with an aftermarket exhaust as well.

So do I....

The stock exhaust sounded terrific with the full Fabspeed setup. Much nicer than the way too quiet stock. However, the ugly stock can looked terrible from behind!

That is why I went to the Eis Sport. I am very happy I did. I would never want it louder than it is, but it is just right. No drone at all, yet sounds amazing from outside.

All depends on if you will add x-pipe. I'd stick with the sport if adding. If not the Race is perfect IMO.

It will be very loud! The titanium x-pipe/HFC is not as thick as the SS x-pipe/HFC. If you combine that with an Eisenmann race, it will blow your eardrums! But if that's what you like, then it will be perfect

Not to hijack the thread, but if anyone is interested in trading their Eisenmann Sport for my Eisenmann Race pm me. I will be purchasing midpipes and high flow cats soon and the fiance thinks the car is already too loud...

I would go with a EI or Fabspeed with HFC and resonators. Combine it with a Eisenmann or Remus race and I think you'll be set.

And I've also seen Eisen Race and AA exhaust for sale. People just want something new.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

Anyone done this yet that can show savings from weight loss and performance gains?
