In Top Gear Series 10, Episode 1, they drive the Stelvio Pass. Like many others, I incorporated this into my ED route. (It's a blast, though the switchbacks may not be the best fit for the S65. M-DCT helps.) I spent the night before in Davos, as they did in the show. I picked a hotel from one of the usual travel sites, looking only for secure parking. The ArabellaSheraton Hotel Seehof delivered! The garage is a bunker several floors below ground. In the iTunes version of the episode, the garage door is at the start of the Stelvio sequence (43:48). As you can see from the photo, the slots are very skinny, which is why James May helped to unpark the GT3 RS (43:56). Once I realized where I was, I knew the next day was going to be pretty great. |
