Haven't seen mine then.. let me honest, the majority of 335i owners havent got a clue about the potential of their car, no doubt this will be even commonplace with the F30 328i, the N20 already showing huge potential.

On the other hand, MOST M3 Drivers have a clue what their car can do (E93 owners I have to question somewhat), although that doesn't necessarily translate into driver ability... It should say in large, plain text on the cover of an M3 User Manual : This Car is Great, it does not make YOU Great.
:

Oh thank you that gave me a mighty chuckle

But I guess so many people can't be arsed with the crap that goes along with private sales, so just take the undervalued trade.
This is very true. I got nearly $15k over the trade-in price when I sold my six-year old E46 M3 privately. I must say I got very lucky because the first buyer who came along after just two weeks on carsales.com.au was a genuine one. All don't get lucky like that. You have to watchout for those thieves especially when you're selling an ///s.

Some of the methods used to steal cars in Australia will put countries like South Africa to shame. Be careful guys when advertising to sell privately. My wife works in the insurance industry and some of the horror stories I hear are just unbelievable.

Does anyone know the history of this car.. I've got the price down to a point that I am happy with, and I love the AW/Carbon combo (just needs black wheels)

It's just my opinion, but that'd be too many km's for me to spend on a 2nd hand car. By the time you own it for a few years it would probably have >100,000km and resale would be poor. If you're willing to wait around, and spend a bit more you could get something much lower km, that's been babied and you'd possible make it back in resale when you go to sell

Better off getting something lower ks, 2007 and maybe not such a popular colour (if it's a track car) keep in mind I got mine for 100k DCT and 24000kms paying 20k less for 3x + Kms
