Yeah...I am a huge fan of the BBS CHs and have owned a few sets. Problem is they are cast/heavy. The MEs are similar but strong as .... and light! Volk should consider engraving the VOLK name round the hub again. I believe the ME is the only wheel where they did this and for a limited run. |

Meisters are too old school for some of us. I ran these in 2004 when I won first place at HIN in the Bay Area. They were sweet looking back in the day and still are now but not something I would go back to.

Question though, don't you guys think 18" is too small for E9X since they come with 19" optional stock? |

18s actually look right on the E92 M3 and 19s or 20s look a little to big unless you are running a lip, diffusor, or sideskirts..

18s give you a better ride on rough pavement. 18s are less prone to wheel damage when you hit a pothole or ride the rumble strips on a track. 18s are lighter than 19s.

I think it depends on the wheel, an 18" Monoblock on meaty tires looks just right, but a 3 piece with lip will probably look tiny (especially cause the face usually isn't that diameter")

exactly. Don't listen to the others. Some 18s look small. Example: the foregestar 18s look great cause the spokes go right to the edge of the wheel unlike the Apex wheels (look side by side you'll see). My Works, being a stepped lip are really an 18" center section so they don't look big and in fact kinda look smaller than OEM GTS wheels at times. 20s are def a no no, they just look too big and belong on a 5 series IMO not a performance car.

TE-37 is probably the one wheel that looks good IMO, I test fitted my old Rotiform LHR onto my car and the concave+lip looked diminutive on such a big body (comparing the e92M to my old e46M)
