I really enjoy my M3 and I am very happy with it. By the time the new M4 comes out, my E92 will be about seven years old, so I will be ready to trade it in for the new baby

Ugh I suppose I'm not the only one thinking about the Cayenne GTS, been playing with the configurator for the past 2 weeks lol.

Never had a Porsche before and i kinda miss the size and comfort of a 4WD, i think the Cayenne GTS fits the bill nicely.

Will try to keep the M3 as long as i can hehe, willpower!

I added the UPDATE to my original Opening Post.

UPDATE ... Made my decision, we will sell our 2012 ///M3 and keep our Daily Driver. If there is any Canadian interest click below on my signature LINK for more details. Perhaps there are some 2008 or 2009 M3 drivers that are planning to get a new car ... I felt to offer the car to Canadian Members here first before I make other plans.

Why is it that you only like to keep you M's for a year?

Someone jump on this car. I've seen it in person and it's a beauty.

Thanks for your post ... as to why well as explained ...

Wife 1 Me 0 final score ,,,

she first agreed the M3 with DCT will be fine if we go to one car then she changed her mind. I don't like to keep her in the garage any longer ,,, it is time to move on for me.

I will get myself a used well maintained SL500 to play with so I have not lost completely

Im holding out for the M4 Gran Coupe. The current 6-series Gran Coupe makes me feel awesome in my pants, but when I drove it - it felt like I was driving a big boat. Im digging the new line of cars coming out from BMW and if the M4 GC has the sexy sleek looks of the 6-GC but the raw power and precision of the ///M then that shall be my next step.

I have also been throwing around a 997.2 C2S but with P-Cars they do everything ala carte. The cars that were in my range didnt have alot of the simple shit we have in our bimmers like power seats, navigation, comfort access, etc. Plus the console looks really dated in everything but the 991 which is WAY out of my range (but goddamn that thing is sexy as tits). I did love the drive of the 997 C2S though, from a pure driving enthusiast perspective porsche is pretty top-notch.

I'm satisfied with my E90 M3. I think I will keep her for a while.

If anything, I might trade in or sell my Jetta. I've been eyeing the Porsche Cayenne for a while; but it's all talk.

I just traded in my 2011 E92 M3 for an 2009 C2S with similar miles. I absolutely love it. The E92 was a lot more comfortable as a daily driver, but the Porsche has always been my dream car. I think it is a lot more fun to drive. It is a bit sparse inside, but for some reason that makes me like it even more.

I thought about a GT3, but I already have an E46 M3 for my track car, and thought it a little less practical for a DD.

Very much in control I can assure you The M3 is not worth a divorce and keeping the wife happy is the reason for a long lasting marriage. If you think otherwise so be it

Oh, absolutely... in the end, it is just a car. My wife "likes" my M3, but we'll see how long that lasts.
