How can you compare it to that? In most cases Pagani puts real performance parts from Zonda R or Cinque to those special editions. All you get with BMW is the parts that already available everywhere like carbon fiber mirror caps and some stitching.

HEY BMW, how about a real performance model for us long time BMW enthusiasts. One with more hp like a new csl. It's long overdue!
Enough with this frozen paint BS already. After 30+ years of BMW ownership I guess its time to look to Porsche for a real performance model! Stop calling frozen paint a performance edition!

here is a Special Edition that would sell well... replace the M Performance Edition with one word... TRACK.

M3 Track Edition, none of these Special Editions will ever appreciate in value like an E30 M3, E36 LTW or hell even E46 ZCP/CSL in the years to come...
