Euro Front Bumper through US Dealer?

Has anyone tried ordering a European front bumper through a US dealer. Rumor is that US dealer can not/ will not order European parts.

Yea, I would think they would say no... They can't be held liable for allowing people to break DoT regulations, as stupid as they are.

EU bumpers do not have the reflector cutouts, makes for a smooth front bumper.

Double points for those that have had the dealer drill in their front plate.

The front one is PDC ready.

Ones not drilled for PDC will have crosshairs behind the bumper for sensor placement if you would like to drill your own holes later.

Is there anyway to get these pre-painted? Preferably by the factory?

Its best these are painted locally in case there are any variations (fading, shipping damage, etc).

Some do, most do not. Headlights washer openings can be cut in or we can order a bumper which is headlight-washer specific if needed.

The euro order block is so pathetic. I could not even order a Euro front license plate holder from my dealer.

A local dealer might offer paint and fitting depending if they have a body shop or not.

Since this is an OEM BMW part, I don't see any reason why not.

Triple points if you car was ordered incorrectly and you got headlight washers when you didn't want them That is the main reason I bought it!
