FS: ESS VT2-625 Upgrade Kit
I am finalizing the purchase of this kit from another forum member (Bashar368) and should be completed tomorrow. I only wanted the VT1-550 and since there were nothing listing I decided to buy Bashar's 550/625 combo with the intent of reselling the VT2-625 parts as an upgrade to anyone that already has a VT1-550. I do not see upgrade kits listed at all so anyone considering this is probably a great buy. From what I have been told there is around 2K miles on the 625 blower. I will not physically have the system probably for another week and I will post pics when I unbox it to prove that I have of the system. Here is the link to the original listing. http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1259216 Thanks Dave Last edited by Digitalwok; 06-03-2016 at 06:32 PM.. Reason: location |

I have the 550 kit and emailed ESS recently to upgrade, the cost is $2600 + core charge (for the manifold and injectors etc)
I wonder if ESS would be willing to provide a 625 tune for free since I already have the 550 kit purchased from them if I were to purchase your parts.. |

One of my friend upgraded 595 to 625. 595 and 625 only difference is the pulley and the tune but they asked almost 2k for the swap. So he decided to call in with different number few days later and asked for a replacement pulley and belt for around $300. And purchased the tune separate which made around $1100 total.

Yes. It will work fine without the tune. But, he wanted to upgrade for more boost. That's why he also did the tune.

Price drop as I got inaccurate information. Was not aware that ESS offered a core return of $1495...that is the return of the not applicable 550 components once the 625 is installed. So final price from ESS for upgrade is around $2600 after you return the core.

I see you dropped the price, I'm still very interested - let me know when you get the parts in and inventoried and we can close the deal.

Also, I do not want to take any deposits until I can personally inventory the components which should be around June 1. Instead, I am just creating a list of interested people right now.
PS. Confirmed that tune with pre-existing cable is $600 Last edited by Digitalwok; 05-26-2016 at 06:30 PM.. |

Tune with pre-existing cable is not $900. I just confirmed with ESS. You need to have a previous tune like ECU tune to be able get full discount.

I decided to use the 625 myself. More power = better right? Thanks for the interest.
