CTS-V sedan lease deals

I test drove a new 2012 CTS-v sedan yesterday; very nice car but not for me. If anyone is considering one of these there are amazing lease deals right now; Cadillac is giving $6200 incentive on CTS-V lease. Another $2000 if you are currently leasing a competitor's vehicle. The dealer was also going to knock $3k + off the sticker. The end result was a $72k MSRP CTS-v with a lease capitalized cost of $60k, plus the lease interest rate was 1.5%. Monthly payment was $810/month including sales tax with $0 cap cost reduction. 36 month/15k miles per year.

It is a big car, 4300 lbs and it feels it when going around turns. It is agile for its size but still not what you would call a tossable car. It is a great highway cruiser with superb power and a very locked down feel while at the same time having a supple ride. It is more like a 5 series or E class than an M3.

I still don't see a whole hell of a lot of those on the road. My wife drives the regular CTS with a premium package and all the creature comforts. It's actually a very nice car. We almost pulled the trigger on the "V" but that was just hubby talkin and since it would be 'her' car she didn't see the need to spend all the extra. I will say that her car has no balls whatsoever though but whatever. When we take hers it's just comfort cruising time. The interior is very well done.

Besides... can't have my wife in something faster than my car!
(Unless it's the new Boxster and we both happen to visit the Ring and somehow she becomes a professional driver )

OP, do you have any more info on the lease incentives? Are these nationwide manufacturer's incentives? I'm in California, do you know if these also apply here?

Thanks!

OP, you are the reason that my wife is now a proud owner of a CTS-V Wagon! We bought it on Sunday, 4/1.

We were in the market for a new car and I hadn't even considered the CTS-V line because properly equipped, they are around $74,000, and the lease residuals are terrible. However, with the lease incentives that you alerted here, the car became affordable, we went to look at them and pulled the trigger. We got black on black, black wheels, yellow calipers.

If anyone is considering one of these, the lease incentives are available until 4/30. You get $5,675 for the wagon plus an additional $2,000 off if you are currently leasing a competitor's vehicle.

Cheers.

don't think this is national. i've been talking to dealers in chicago and they're talking about $1100 - $1250 with $5000 down.

I know, it's very tempting. Then we'd have two track ready street cars in the garage...nice.

Yep. I think the Coupe has very similar numbers. This is no secret, so just inquire with a dealership.

The closest dealer to my house had a coupe that was perfectly built (black, black int., black wheels, yellow calipers, recaro, etc.) and approached us with invoice pricing, $0 down, 1% rate + the lease incentives. This is before we even tried to negotiate the deal. The lease was going to be in the low $900s for a $73,000 car with 36mo., 15k miles/year! Now that is a great deal.

I've seen exactly two CTS V wagons on the road. Talking about "dare to be different!" I've seen a few sedans, but the wagon is killer to me.
