Help:How to remove Steering wheel Air Bag
Hi guys,
Need your help on how to remove the air bag on the steering wheel, I was trying to take off my steering wheel, kinda get stuck on taking the air bag off. I've seen Aleks mentioned on his perf. steering wheel DIY thread that there're two small openings, one on each side behind the steering wheel that I need to insert a flat screwdriver to, so I could pull the side of the airbag gently out. But I couldn't any openings there, can't pull out the air bag directly either, didn't pull very hard tho, certainly don't wanna break it. Anybody know where those two openings are ? or you may have another approach on taking the air bag off that you think might be easier to do? any suggestions will be appreciated, TIA Mike

Maybe this will help. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...=air+bag+slits
Take a flashlight to the back of the steering wheel and you should see these tiny slits. Thats where the screw driver will go into.
