pros and cons on straight pipes?
I had Akra EVO before the iPE F1. Both stinks but iPE is much much louder.
Why do you run full system and why not?

Full system for the most power gains, pretty simple.

That is what I thought. When I had the Akra EVO for two weeks. I felt the gain is much more noticeable than my current iPE F1. I am embarrassed to WOT since it is way too loud in the city driving. I heard from some people saying with the valve closed, I gain more torque? My valve opens at 3800rpm in auto mode. Which is insanely loud after I pass 3800rpm so I let go of the gas pedal immediately. Again, it has been raining crazy lately. Haven't yet to drive it hard with the valve open/close.

Can you explain why the Akra Evo stinks? I'm thinking about getting one very soon.

It uses hi-flo catalytic converters instead of regular cats. That's the thing that makes the smell of the exhaust go away, but having regular cats reduces the flow of the gases. Something along to that nature.

The only time I regret not having cats (on my E46) is when its cold out and I want to warm up the car in the garage for a quick moment (with the garage door open of course)...the smell gets quite strong.
