The after sales service and support is worth the few extra dollars.

Trust me deal with Nate at IND! There have been so many unbelievable posts from IND clients, let that guide you.

I have just bought an ESS 575 kit today from him, and it's been such a pleasure dealing with them. I have bought Akra, brembos, rogue pulley and ESS now and they have shipped to S Africa very quickly and inexpensively. Call Nate, I'm sure he will look after you, and give you the right advice re CEL and how to sort it out.

i don't have the akra and i feel no dip on mine either and i have a catless system so akra is not the only one out there where you feel no dip

Everybody who has no Akra is complaining about this - everybody who has one does not feel it
Reason is reduced backpressure due to HFC.

I think what you meant to say is that you will never "feel" the dip!

Can someone please explain to
me WTF is going on here???
Maybe the ones from Turner have a dip, not mine!!!!
You have the dip like everyone else but it is so insignificant you can't notice it without putting the car on a dyno.

The Akrapovic Evolution that Turner sells is exactly the same as the one you and me and everyone else has.

You have the same dip as every other aftermarket mid section with a cat delete or HFC's..... like I said above it is so minor that you can't feel it. If you had a baseline dyno and then another dyno run with your Dinan Midpipe you would see this dip everyone is talking about. The dip which lasts for Approximately 500RPM is a small price to pay for the steady 20+Hp and 20+Lb/Ft improvement all the way from 3000RPM right to 8400RPM.

Power wise your full Dinan Exhaust makes pretty well the exact same #'s as the Akrapovic system.... it isn't as pretty, light or expensive but is 100% as functional!

i never said it didn't have a dip i just said i don't feel it. the other guy mentioned that other people with different systems come on and post how they feel the dip etc. i was just saying that i don't feel mine so there is another system out there where you don't feel it.

also the dip on mine is in a different spot then on the akra. mine is btw 6600-7200.

also my full system is 38hp gain and 34tq gain over stock. that would be the Dinan Midpipe, Dinan Rear Muffler and Dinan software for the midpipe. the extra power is awesome as well as the reduced weight and amazing sound

the akra is beautiful yes

I hear Ralfs Akra's are way better then Turners' Akra's now that you mention it. Ralf's have a choice of Tips. Polished tips and CF tips take away the Dip!

Don't they kill you out there for driving a car like an M3? I thought crime rate was very high down in Africa..? From what I know very few are willing to drive a nice car or show anything off in South Africa.

I whole heartedly agree. Great group of guys and I am grateful I've meet and spent time with them. Can't believe I find it a trek from downtown to IND.
but Ilia even gets me from the train sometimes and I even get a ride home

So much for snow keeping me from spending money when all my useless cars stay indoors

I'll keep an eye on your kit. Hopefully I won't need spare parts or you might not like me anymore

Congrats!
I can't wait until you feel the difference the S/C makes on the car. It truly transforms it into a Beast! Just invest in some extra rubber as you may go through it a little more quickly.

IND is Top Notch for sure and you can't go wrong with ESS either!

IND and ESS FTW!

HAHAHA, operative word there, MOVIES! Yeah sure there may be some spots I'd rather not drive my M3 through, let alone at night, but I rarely if ever have been concerned for my safety when I drive. Albeit I rarely drive in super sketchy areas, but still, I like how you compare our streets/crime to what you see in the movies.

Africa and South Africa are two very different worlds. Yes the crime rate is fairly high here in SA, but it's just like any other country really. There are certain areas where you just dont want to f*ck around in but for the most part it's all good.

Plenty people here have exotic & sports cars and arent really afraid to show them off at all.

With regards to your first question, if you happen to be driving the right car at the wrong time in the wrong area, well then you're f*cked! It could be anything from a 1974 Datsun to 540i (used for cash in transit heists) the key is to just stay vigilant, aware and know the areas and you're cool

It's not that bad really

appologies

I doubt SA is that bad its just like anywhere else. In Chicago if I leave the comfort of the city and go to far South or West there's a good chance I may never post on this forum again.

In LA I stay with my sister in West Hollywood...worst that can happen outside of the movies is getting a bag of glitter thrown at you...I'm most likely not kidding

But I think I don't want to meet you or your wife on a bad day. I've only rocked hardware like that in Call of Duty
