Personal I think it was BF , just like that German guy while he was driving around 200 km/h on the German Autobahn and got that horrible accident caused by BF.

Because I see "Belgian plates" on the car , I have exactly the same plates .

"Plates from Belgium" => are white with red letters .
"Plates from Netherlands" => are yellow with black letters .

The picture below shows a Belgian plate => A white plate with red letters on it and with the "B" from "Belgium"

But I would love to know more about the poor guy...

Thanks. This was posted on FB and not much details. Looking at his profile it said everything about Netherlands. He's the second owner and had it for six years. He's approaching BMW for a warranty claim. I doubt it. Regardless good luck to him.

I did several searches on Facebook , but without result .
And I also PM'd yesterday evening my friend and OP @[aussiem3] (contact:25540) in Australia and I asked him kindly to send me the Facebook link .
But I'm still waiting for a reply....

depends on what the old bearings look like when they get pulled... If they are pretty well chewed up then I will do them in another 50k afterwards... If they look pretty decent then I will not replace them again ever...

So..As I promised here an update from OP's aussiem3 picture about the Belgian with his S65 blown engine (with the Belgian plates , see pic)
Many thanks to aussiem3 , who helped me out with the registration on ///MFlight Europe , and of course also our European ///MFlight Admin Kevin Timmons .
Only by my registration I was able to contact the Belgian Sonny Heyman , and today I had a chat of 30min. with him (he is not Bimmerpost member)
It actually looks pretty bad , and he sended today to me 2 extra pics from his S65 , and with some pieces of his S65 motor block .
It's actually a black hole !

This doesn't looks that good!
When I was driven 200 km/h suddenly the engine stopped and the error message "motor failure" comes on, I looked in the back mirror and the only thing I saw was white smoke. I stopped immediately and pulled over, in a few seconds all the oil was under my car.

After what he said back to me....
So I gave him advice to bring his car over to Germany to people with a lot of experience for our S65 engines , because most BMW/Dealers really suck .

I actually saw 3 cases with BF today , 2 on the European ///MFlight site (non Bimmerpost members)

Yes , it was some work in the last week to find the necessary contacts to reach him on ///MFlight Europe(registration was required) and my problem was time , but finally succes and new friends .

did this happen on the way to/from the AC Schnitzer tour? I was just asked a few minutes ago if I heard about this but I didn't hear anything even at the factory so it must have happened on the way back that day?
