What you do first when you buy the M3 in winter and thanks to PYspeed !
Hi,
as you might know I recently sold my e93 335i and bought my e93 M3. Winter can be pretty harsh here and I had to rush for a winter wheel & tire setup. At the end I decided to go staggered 8.5 x 18 ET 35 (plus 12mm spacers) front and 9.5 x 16 ET 22 rear. The tires are 235/40-18 front and 255/40-18 rear. This is not an aggressive setup but it fits to the car pretty good, IMO. Tires don't look stretched at all. I ordered the wheels from Eric and 5 business days later they arrived. As you see on the picture the wheels and tires are really needed. Now, normally this post should be in the wheels and tires section, however, I did not find something comparable ( the wheels are V710's ) and I am very happy to have them on the car already, so I just want to let you know. Again, thanks to Eric @ PYspeed, he covered my issues very well and provided excellent service. Let me know how you like the setup. Sorry for the bad quality picture, it has been pretty dark outside. So I guess moderators can post off topic stuff here and not get their thread moved? Please tell me how your M3 or the V710s are related to the turbo section? Nice rims though

Yes, and this intentionally. I saw quite some forum members looking for 18 inch setups. Here you have one, perfect fit. With this setup you can use stock 18 inch tire sizes without any problems. The wheels are light, not pricey and seem to be a bargain concerning what you get. I needed longer bolts ( go for +12 up to +25mm ) due to the 12mm spacers on the front wheels.
Thank you for understanding. Eugen |
