Trade In?

Convince me not to trade in my recently purchased 3-series for an M3! Please...I'm so tempted.

Okay, so why exactly did you recently purchase a 3 and not the M3?

Seems to me that all the reasons that made you choose the "regular" 3 over the M3 would still hold up now, right?

Again, I have yet to see ANYBODY who posted a thread like this asking to justify the jump to an M3 ever regretting it after the switch and pretty much kicking themselves in the ass for either A.) not getting the M3 in the first place or B.) wasting so much time tossing the idea around. Majority of the time it's a 335 owner like yourself.

I don't know you, but if you can afford it financially, then just do it and Thank us all later lol

Easy, if you can afford the M3 do it. You will not regret your decision, but seems like you're already doubting your purchase of the non-M3.

Why didn't you just buy the M3 the first time around?

This. The depreciation hit on the 335is along with the low inventory on M3's right now means OP will pay serious money to make the switch now. I would hang onto the 335is if I were him and ride it out until lease is over and then look into it.

Well, as many have said here before, no one driving an M3 ever rolled up at a light next to a 335 and said to themselves, "Damn, I wish I got that car instead."

If you can afford it, trade it.

agreed, the problem with the 335is has always been that there's an M3 out there for not that much more money.

I shake my head everytime I see a 335is, thinking how much of a rip off that car is. I guess that person could have leased a 335is, and if they're so tied to the slightly lower monthly payment, one additional dollar would blow his budget, then in this case you can't afford either cars, pal.

Been there and done that. But the 335 lasted for 1 yr and 4 mos. No regret after the switch.

I agree with you. I know a guy with a 60k 335is and I know another guy with a 65k M3 that has just competition package and 6MT (speed cloth and manual seats). The 335is is pretty much loaded, but I would take the M3 with just the competition package and 6MT over that 335is.

the m3 and the 335 shouldnt be compared. why do people constantly do that?

the 335 is for your hot sexretary. or a jersey shore boy racer.

own an m3, and you own a piece of history.

don't be stupid

Think financially first. IF you can afford it, then why not. If you are buying the M3 for the wrong reasons i.e. showing off, then don't. You'll walk yourself into lots of financial disaster.

Because in many cases the cost is close enough to justify a FINANCIAL comparison.

No we shouldn't.........not from a usability standpoint. A 2-seater is not applicable.
