Possibly the loudest E92 M3 I have ever heard

Mine: Supersprint Race, secondary cat / resonator delete, primary cat in place

Friends White M3: Primary decat, secondary cat / resonator delete, OEM mod (mine!!) 2 perforated pipes replaced with solid pipes welded on.

A few years ago at a dyno session in Texas, there was a car running straight pipes with the Gintani Race rear section...

Once the car hit about 4,000 RPM there was a 5 or 6 year old child about a block away and he started crying and covering his ears. Poor kid!

PS, great video and the cars sounds great.

LOL!

Goes without saying that its much much louder in real life with that White M3.
Its mega loud. Actually hurts my ears even from far back in my chasing car.

Audio was captured on the gopro 3 BE by the intake on mine (from the camera angle), which you can hear the engine (sounds great! the V8) and I also had a zoom h1 inside the car which recorded most of the car sound in front. Combined the 2 audio recording in post.

Unfortunately it does drone between 1-2k rpm.
Either I'm use to it now or my new subwoofer has drowned it out

Standard.
I was very surprised on the sound the gopro managed to capture by that vent, the V8 growl.

Burble and pops sound sweet! I'm not like the majority, I don't mind some drone. Sounds good!

Possibly, but this is basically just a straight pipe from the manifold all the way to the muffler which is goes straight out. Zero cats anywhere and zero resonators anywhere so surely it'll beat the kreissieg in terms of volume?

Well you won't be able to tell from the video how loud it is.

Cause the mic sensitivity is limited to 120dB and it clips the audio if I set the gain anywhere near the actual volume if you hear it in real life. So... the only way to hear what the "sound" sound likes without it being all distorted is to lower the volume.

So really video / captured audio doesn't really do it justice and also depending what you're listening it on as well.

The tone sounds very much like that too on my friends But as mentioned, difficult to tell the actual volume with no comparison, dB meter or reference to some other audio source.

What dB level are we talking here when considering loudest?

Meisterschaft GT2 or GTS + Catless is the loudest! the muffler is designed to be loud by itself more so than any straight pipe setup.

here is a video of a GT2 with challenge sport, which has secondary cats and resonators. It was windy that day and the video was taken with smartphone.
