LoL. I just noticed that. Damn it's a old thread. Hey, at least I used the search function before posting something that's already been spoken about a million times!

No, just the lip with the struts. No idea about 2011 prices though.

I just called a shop about this today. They quoted me $2700. Price has gone down but still expensive. He gave me a idea though. A hybrid. It's a Vorsteiner lip with the ACS hinges. I first I was reluctant but he showed me a picture of someone who did it and it looked great. So I'm going that route.
And again, I apologize for bringing back a three year old thread. Doesn't look good for the new guy!!!

^If you're going to be paying that much for a lip, you may as well get the BMW GT4 lip. There are much cheaper options out there that look much better than ACS.

It's a rip off..... period.
Bottom line is that the lip is a disposable piece and they market it like its permanent. I've been through 3 lips already. No R&D will protect you from road kill or flying rocks. They priced themselves right out of the market unless it's strictly a show car that goes no where. JMO.

So the hybrid idea is a good idea just for the look. It might not be functional b/c I can't lower and higher the lip, but it looks good? I'm doing it strictly for the look. I love the way that AC Schnitzer lip looks!!! This is the closest I'm going to get. $2700 is way too much for a "disposable" piece!!!! I'm going to end up paying $1,400. I don't mind.

There are replica AC Schnitzer lips around. Not sure of the quality though.

It is guaranteed that I will destroy any lip that I get within a couple of months so I am not willing to spend big $$ on a piece like that. I guess it really depends on the roads that you drive.

LOL! What a joke! ACS lips are probably one of the ugliest on the market. There are much better and cheaper options. I had no idea they cost that much. This looks almost identical to the E46 lip with those 2 ugly supports. They didn't even try to make it unique for the E9x.
Just read a post by the IND crew on $1,000 pentagonal spacers, and a $2,000 rice burner spoiler. Am I missing something?!
