Have a good flight/trip guys.

Congrats guys! That will be a fun trip! Have been thinking about ED the more I read, especially this thread. Just don't want to wait so long to get the car. Still doing some research. Can't wait to see the pics

What's the typical time frame from ordering an M3 and it being ready for pickup in Munich?

You request three delivery dates and they will determine the production schedule. Typically not less than 30 days and dependent upon model year changes, factory holidays, production run limits etc....others here can chime in

You've got to do this! Delivery experience at the Velt is unforgettable! Everyone in the states who has not been should experience the country roads and autobahn in Deutschland and the surrounding countries.

The US does not have roads as well built and kept as these! Our cars are made for this experience and the drivers here are so cool, happily yielding to faster traffic.

Talk to you guys when I return.

Cheers from Bamburg!

So you detailed yours before you turned it in? I guess I forgot, but I'm sure they'll have it buffed out when I receive it again during the Performance Center Delivery.

I ended up hanging out with these two German girls I met at the hotel the night before and drank waay too much, so half-way through the morning delivery my head was spinning so bad I had to ask to come back after some rest. Sorry I missed you and look forward to your write-up and pics.

I happened to slip in late in the afternoon before closing on the eve of the delivery (kinda felt like a kid peeking at Christmas presents) and took this shot of your lovely MR e90 w/ mine in the distance...it was as close as I could get at the time.

I was thinking that I'd be the one to take pics of you/OC going down the ramp, but timing provides irony. A quick side trip in Munich that morning turned not-quick and we got to the Welt just a little ahead of scheduled check-in.

I was surprised at how many M3s were on the floor that day.

i actually took mine to a self carwash and also kept a rag on me with some water to get the bugs off... couldn't believe the size of them!

I posted a whole write up in the pictures section, check it out, I have pics of your cars there as well.

OC your car was there almost all day, I thought I saw you looking at it then left it there?

Because of time restraints, I will take the car straight from the Welt to the Munich drop-off. Any idea if the drive is side streets or highway?
