285/30 and 305/30 R19

Have I got this right?

285/30 and 305/30 R19 are the closest height match to
245/35 and 265/35 R19 and the closest front to rear stagger %?

Has anybody run a ZCP rim with these widths?

Most I have read is 265 & 295?

front wall rear wall rear/front
profile height width height ratio
35's 245 35 85.75 265 35 92.75 108%
30's 285 30 85.5 305 30 91.5 107%

285/30 and 305/30 are way too wide for the stock ZCP wheels. That being said, on proper wheel sizes (10" or 10.5" F and 11" or 11.5" R) it is pretty much the ultimate tire combo for the E9X M3 chassis. I am thinking about trying it and am surprised that it hasn't been done before. Of course it will require wheels with the perfect offsets and more camber than stock but I know it can be done

Thanks guys, at this stage I don't have the budget to look at rims and tyres. I will just try and get stickier R comps that are streetable with the stock sizes. I've used sports cups before will see if they have the appropriate size.

I know someone that runs a 285 square setup at the track so know that end will fit. Not sure about 305's without possible fender pulling, but as said earlier, would take the perfect combo of wheel size, offset, camber and even tire choice as some tires have more square or rounded edges to make that setup work. Would love to see it done though.

will do it. gimme some weeks.

Plan:
285/30-18 all around Michelin Pilot Cups
10x18 ET25 wheels (which will get a 5-10mm spacer front and 10-15mm rear).

here's a teaser of the tires. weight is shown in Kilogramm.
"my old" 265/35-18 Michelin Cup tires:

"the new" 285/30-18 Michelin Cup tires:

Both on one picture. 285/30-18 will be really tight on the front but it should work.

A 285/30/18 is under 25", how does that work on a E92 M3?

Thanks, I was looking to get 285/30 PSS but they don't come in that size so I was between 275 and 295, but I am scared that 295s will rub under compression

I have 275/30 fronts and 295/30 rear Yoko AD08's with no rubbing with one passenger (haven't tried two passengers). I have stock ZCP's with no spacers. I would definitely do it again. I have 9k miles on them.

Think Im going to just run some R comp 275/30/R19 square, using stock ZCP's and look at getting some camber adjustment plates. Spotted some on the Apex website. That should do for the track for a little while. BPM tune has been ordered so I just have to wait for all the goodies to arrive :-)
