Welp I quit my job!

While I was completely miserable at my job and wanted so bad to just walk out with no notice, I couldn't do it that way. I did the correct thing and gave my 2 week notice. They definitely $hitted bricks and offered me a crap ton to stay but no dice. I still decided to take a pay cut for a job opening at a smaller company that I could have less work volume but be more interactive in all phases of the field of work. The company is hiring 3 people to replace me and I was able to semi train one of them before my last day today.

I look forward to the next chapter in my life!

3 people to replace you? Seems like they were milking you for everything that you had. I can't stand companies who do not appreciate those who keep their heads down, open their mouths only when appropriate, and get tasks done.

Bitter sweet. There was a few great people that I will miss and I know that thier job will get harder now that I am gone but at the end of the day it was the best thing for me and my family

Yes they were... Part of the reason I think they hired 3 is the anticipation of of at least 1 quiting.

Good for you .I have been interviewing lately and if I could find something that is even in the ballpark salary wise I would do the same. I salute your courage, I want so bad to tell them adios but I'm trying to wait for a at least the same salary, Buffalo sucks for careers.
