Ledertechnik for fixing interior leather in M3s

Hey guys,

Even though I use BMW leather care on my car every 2-3 months, I started to see some very minor scratches on my driver leather seat (Fox Red) and I was just searching on the web and found this by Ledertechnik:

http://www.ebay.ca/itm/14-00-100ml-c...#ht_656wt_1397

I searched in here and didn't find a lot and searched in youtube and found this video:

So I am wondering if any one has any experience with using these products?

Thanks

i have something similar to this, I actually got it for the leather seats on my motorcycle but it worked fine on my M3. Honestly the results look nothing like that thou. Idk that might be better but my leather seat did not clear up like that. All it did was fade again in a few weeks. I'll go look for it and send you the product info.

I wouldn't expect great results from this on Fox Red. My driver's seat (also fox red) was showing some wear on the bolster and I used some Swissvax leather dye on it last weekend. To be honest, it turned out a lot better than I expected. It doesn't look absolutely perfect if you get up close and know what you're looking for, but I had a couple buddies check it out and they couldn't tell I had done any dye work.

A small bottle was about $90, but it was well worth the cost.

That would be correct. With the proper discount code 10% is the max, and u can get free shipping with over $150.

What is the Swissvax color code for Fox Red and did you use the leather Benzine prior? If so, does it come with the dye? Thanks.

I started off with benzine. I couldn't find the Swissvax leather benzine anywhere, I think it's discontinued. Be careful with the application. I used a Q tip....this stuff will strip all the dye off any area you get it on. Next up was leather master strong cleaner. I followed that up with the Swissvax leather grinder and finally the dye.

I don't recall the color code off hand. I can check the bottle when I get home today. If you're ready to place an order just call/email Swissvax and ask them what the code is. It wasn't easily distinguished by looking at their color codes and I wanted to be sure before I placed the order, so that's what I did.

Did you find the color code? And where did you get the benzine? Thanks.
