Damn, amazing pics, good work on that. I think I will just copy this post as a baseline for developing my future ED trip.
First, I guess I need that Nikon D90 I've eyeing for over a year.. I may have missed it if mentioned already, but what camera and photo edit software do you use?

Everything else is nice and all, but to me there's only one thing that matters about your entire trip and it can be summed up in just one word. Monaco!!!
You sir have done it the right way. |

Thanks for this Thorny! i think this will definitely help out alot of folks starting out in the DSLR realm.
Just to add about photography, i think you must have used CP filter for the pics. For the folks, the CP filter is a trick for Automotive photography to cut down the car's reflection, as well as it's main purpose..which is to bring out the clouds/colours on bright days..as well as producing those amazing blues in the water (again, cuts through the reflections of the water). I'm the opposite of your gears, i shoot mostly in primes, with the 50mm sigma 1.4 glued to the body. I use the 135L for cars and people pics. I don't even remember the last time i've used a zoom. I'd like to pick up the 35mm 1.4 very soon. For me, the limitation of the fix focal length is what drives my creativity out. But that's just me. Going Prime is more costly and troublesome to manage.
