Hey thanks Golfer, I really like the look too.
I did have the matte black before but it was falling apart. nothing is as nice as OEM most of the time.

Nice one! Did you do the side gill removal yourself?

Yes and I will be finishing the whole DIY with pics of what I did by removing the wheels and getting them out correctly and what you need to do and consider for e90 install.

very nice... you need the tinted LED's in the gills now .......... that is pretty much what my car looks like and funny thing is I was going with the performance splitters too but have decided not too. It is cool to be able to see what they would have looked like, Thanks.

Car looks great! Can I ask if the grill is the OEM grill upgrade that BMW is currently selling?

correct they are OEM- please refer to my DIY on where you buy and how you can install the parts correctly. I posted the link above. Let me know if you have any other photo requests of questions.

I really love how my car looks now- this was a great mod!

Looks great Scott! Did the same on my E90 though I went with the painted (Space Grey) side gills.

Question for you, did you do the install on the OEM carbon fiber front splitters?

hey thats a cool idea!

Yes I did, and I also used the 2nd hole on the CF splitter and drilled into the bumper to mount with the screw that was provided in the kit out side of what was already mounted on the bumper, I used OEM 3M Automotive Plus Acrylic tape and I used rubber washers going in so the metal screws that hold the bumper in pace below would not rub against the splitter or cause a crack instead they are snug with rubber washers. you can find these at your local home depot in the sink area. If you need a breakdown I will email you later.
Unfortunately I was too excited and did that mod first with out posting a proper diy. Make sure you get the 3m remover with the tape on line in case you accidently stick on the splitter in an "off" way. THIS TAPE IS THE STRONGEST out there and will not come off easy, you may break the splitters with out .

I think they look better on your black (Jet Black, right?) M3 than on my Interlagos Blue M3.

Cheers.
