***Totaled CAR! E92 m3 DTC***

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
My Car was rear ended 3 weeks ago, i have heard from my body shop that it is total and will know for sure in a few days. I already have two buyers, and i am creating this thread to see if there is more interest. It is a 2008 e92 m3 painted alantis blue, 14k miles. Fully modded Catless exhaust, ess tune,CIC idrive, Oss angel eyes, CF mirror, custom CF interior. Custom DTC paddles. Front camera, PDC etc.. I am located in NY. As of right now it is mostly electrical and cosmetic, no tranny or engine damage. Idrive starts up, car starts up.

Why do you want to sell it? Wouldn't insurance just pay for it if it's totaled?

Are you parting out? If so and you have extended leather, I'll take the center console and lower dash/glove box.

I will buy it back from insurance and then sell it to whomever. This will make a great track car for cheap. I am holding the parts for the person that will buy the car.

You may want to check with your insurance company to see if you are able to do that. I had a total loss on another BMW and insurance company told me that I would have to collect the totalled value from them and then seek out the car at the salvage auction if I wanted to buy it back

In other words they told me I couldnt buy it back from them directly..this was Allstate

Yep..they told me they dont allow buy backs directly if the amount of the loss is above a certain value. They informed me that it was selling on Coparts and I could have bid on it if i wanted. but that was the only way to purchase it back
