S63 swap into a E9X?

I'm sure a S63 motor out of a F10 M5 won't be cheap, but neither is rebuilding a S65. So I'm curious, has anything thought how much it would cost to swap a S63 into a E9X and if it would fit?

People are dyno'ing 700whp on the F10 M5s with bolt ons, it would make for a pretty fast M3.

There have been talks of 1000hp S65 builds, both turbo and supercharged but after 6 years of the E9X no one has done it.

Thoughts?

Yes it can do that quite easy....hard part is everything is CAN controlled so everything has to be reverse engineered from engine to CAN that makes the dash work

just get a SCed S65, with couple of mods you'll easily see north of 600whp, no point in going beyond that with RWD

Such a swap will result in chaos.
Lost money, nerve's AND hair's...
Why even thinking about such B.S. invest your money into an S65 rebuit.

you can do it. like others said, it wont be cheap.

If i were to do it, I would buy an entire salvage f10 m5 and swap EVERYTHING.

How about a supercharged S85? Seems like it'd be a more straight-forward swap with more power potential.

How much power are you looking to make ? Mine made 785whp at 14psi and I still have 2 more lbs to go.

Just speaking theoretically. I have no real interest in chasing huge power, just thought an SC S85 swap could be interesting if someone was looking for big power.

785 WHP is impressive man!
