Strange Noise when in reverse...DCT
Hey guys,
I'm new to the E92 M3 (not BMWs) and I have heard this strange noise emanating from the passenger rear wheel area when backing out of the garage. The trans is a DCT. Its only happened randomly twice, but its got me worried. Its a metallic clanging sound. It almost sounds as if there's a soup can dangling off the rear suspension somewhere. Any ideas?

did a little research....seems to be the E Brake or pebbles in the rotors. Or caliper heat shield issues.
