Should I do it?
Good morning all, I'd like to start off by saying I'm quite a newbie when it comes to cars. I've followed various threads on the forums for months but never really asked for my own input. I drive a 2008 335i e90 and enjoy it very much. However during my purchase of the vehicle I was sadly mislead. I found out after purchasing the car it had a lemon title...tough break I know (the title was given for HPFP issues so it helped with my depression a little )....because I've heard it quite a common issue.
....I ran into my first main issue though a few weeks back. I was driving back from work when I started getting an error message and then instant limp mode. I found out that my water pump had gone bad...My shop also said that my car was misfiring and I had to replace the ignition coils. The shop replaced a few more things, changed oil, etc. and all in all costed about $2400. I'm starting to wonder if it would be better to trade my car in my car to avoid any more issues and get the m3. What are your thoughts? |

When we sat down to discuss the pricing and warranty etc. he walked us through the fine print slowly and towards the end speed up saying..."Oh and this basically says this, blah blah blah". He obviously didn't say anything about the lemon title just to close the sale. Kind of my own fault for trusting him.... just bad business in my opinion. Anyway, I'm looking at an 2008 sedans at the moment.
My trade in is sadly cut in half due to the lemon title, so that makes it a little more difficult. I was thinking about financing one for 3 years and get it paid off. Just debating if that's worth it. |

Of course you should do it but the question is whether you can afford it and if it's feasible.
