very nice, congrats on the car. Remember to come back and report how the car is doing after your 1,300 miles of break in.

OK, here are a few more
Some more pics. The first one gives an idea of what Fox Red looks like from outside the car.

It's really amazing how different the car looks w/o the carbon fiber roof. I saw some pics months ago of AW w/o the carbon fiber roof and it looked very boring. These pics look outstanding however and the car just seems ready to pounce!!!

Some More Pics
I've clocked up 900km so far and will post something more substantial later. Thus far I have noticed no problems with the oil level. I am getting about 16.2 l/100km in fuel consumption (17.5 mpg in UK, and 14.5 mpg in US) driving mainly in city traffic and gunning most of the starts (I am beginning to love the turbine sound of the engine at 2000 to 5000 rpm ... sounds like something from the sound track of The Thunderbirds). The fuel advisory is a bit annoying though, coming on when you still have a quarter of a tank left.
The seats are very comfortable and adjustable. The thick steering wheel is not a problem and the highish driving position ... well, I quite like it. The cars grip on tarmac is tenacious ... I think my arse will slide on the seat, well before the tail gives way. Discovered the other day that you can vent the airconditioning into the arm rest compartment ... very handy for keeping a small drink can cold. Also discovered that the drivers side of the arm rest can be moved forward ... not sure what this is for yet. Sydney is preparing for New Years Eve. Lanes are closed on the bridge for them to attach fireworks to it. I took these photos whilst delivering our BYO booze to the restaurant we have booked for the evening. We can't take it on the night as the area around the bridge has a ban on alcohol being brought into the area from 11:00am on new years eve. The roads leading down there are covered with signs advising this. |

Nice pics mate! I booked at Water Front at Rocks for new years eve and remembering from last year it was crazy. Unlimited supply of booze! Of course great seafood as well. You said you booked a table at a restaurant, is it near Rocks? Wouldn't mind trying new places for dinner.

Great shots of the "Bimmer". I was not aware that the M3 was available without the c/f roof. I like the look of the all white roof and the sunroof is aspeaker for that amazing V8 sountrack. The white is nice but mine will be black.
