My paypal horror story - E92 M3 Brakes for sale

ATTN . To everyone on the fourms - I apologize for this whole ordeal. It was all settled and we're both on the same page. We have to agree what ever happened with the missing parts was during transit and not deliberate on either parties.

It was brought to my attention that there have been lurkers outside of the Families residence. PLEASE make it known, you can and will get in trouble if you continue. PLEASE do not post any negative or personal information.

I apologize to the family for any headache or scares they may have experienced.

Please make it be known this whole thing is finished and we came to a mutual agreement.

Justin

This is the official thread, not sure why those others were duplicated?

Wow, it's disappointing to hear that people would go that route to try to resolve their own mistake. I have a little experience with PayPal disputes and can tell you that they usually err on the side of the buyer, however your case is well documented so I think that you have a decent chance of getting your money or brakes back.

Good luck, hopefully you can get in touch with the guy and settle it without PayPal.

Martin Pasqualone is ruthless and a scam artist. He put on this nice facade and acted like he was really appreciative only to turn out to be a sociopath. If he was a good person, he would have called me and asked me what happened to the other parts. Not even giving me a chance to look around and see if I accidentally forgot to ship some parts. In which I didn't... He's not missing parts, they don't fit his application..

Sounds like a straight-up scam - he didn't make no mistake, or anything.

Well, anybody wanna give this Pasqualone guy a visit? Somebody should snoop on his residence and take pictures of the M3 brakes on the shtbox 328xi and then post it up as more proof.

Burns me up just reading this... that's why I no longer bother dealing with people on the internet.

It truly hurts me that I have to deal with things and people like this. It's when everything is going right and smoothly that crap like this appears. I had a great birthday yesterday, only to wake up to this junk. After I meticulously wrapped and shipped these parts, I know DAMN well what was in there.

Why did you ship it in 6 different box and pay $100+ when you can ship it into one box and probably pay ~$50-70 going through UPS or Fedex?

That absolutely wasn't the case when I went there. I wanted to do it all in 1, but I was being charged more than double that way.

This statement alone tell you it was a scam from the start

Quote:
He goes on to tell me that he has fitted gt500 brakes onto one of his Jeeps and he is confident he can make something work.
Did the guy live in Morrisville PA, that is right near me, Post this in the PA Forum section and see if a number of BMW people can pay this guy a call to get your stuff back.

The only Martin Pasqualone in Morrisville is a Doctor, so the person who scammed you may not be this person. I had someone tried this once on me, wanted to buy something gave me a name and other information and when I look them up online, things did not add up.

https://www.lewistownhospital.org/he...ls.aspx?id=193

Then again he got his PhD from a medical school in the Caribbean, so I am not sure I would trust this guy

Some more information Martin Pasqualone does not live in Morrisville but in Yardley which make sense since Morrisville is not upper class, A Dr would not live there, but would likely in Yardley.

http://www.whitepages.com/name/Marti...Morrisville-PA

What was the specific address you shipped to.

Here is your guy at it on another forum

http://www.f150online.com/forums/4684811-post9.html
http://www.f150online.com/forums/par...charger-2.html

Not sure what to make of this one
http://m.corvetteforum.com/c5-forced...booster-2.html

Our fine DR appears to be car person, but you never know it could all be a scam

His username is "cobramarty" it seems like. Both on this forum, but also on f150online and some Corvette forum. Pisses me off that people cannot work things out like men anymore. What has the world come to?

Garage List
anyone that buys anything and does not receive something correctly usually contacts the seller to resolve it and then make a claim if it is not resolved. that should be a red flag for paypal.

Never dawned on me this guy was on this forum as well, and here is a posting he made about buying these brakes

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=963631

Now that I read some of his post, I am thinking you're dealing with the kid not the dad.

Your brakes are on this car (put the @ before the 40.24833 so the link works)

https://www.google.com/maps/40.24833...aPhOTO2BEQ!2e0

And from the looks of it they are a car family, I personally never seen so many cars parked near a home around this area, I bet his neighbors hate them.

You need to send this to paypal showing that he's asking if anyone knows if larger brakes can be fit to the 328.

There seems to be a few options-

328- Stock- Front(early) 300mmx24mm (late) 312x 24mm Rears 300mmx20mm
E Brakes- coupe, sedan- 160mmx20mm xi, convert- 185mmx20mm
BMW Performance- front 338mmx26mm (from $1199 up)
335- front 348mmx30mm, rear 336x22mm E brake 185mmx20mm
M3- front 360mmx30mm, rear 350x23.9mm 185mmx20mm

Just bought some '11 E9x M3 100 mile takeoffs- front and rear rotors, calipers, pads. Hoping and expecting them to bolt right on. Time will tell.

More to follow.

Has anyone else put bigger brakes on the 328?

I hope internet justice works in your favor and you get your stuff back the way it was, or at least get to keep the cash if the parts were tampered with.

So it looks like the dad is "cobramarty" and his kid is called "bpas328xi". The kid made this odd post a while ago where he photoshopped out his neighborhood...
