FYI: I think I know why you are asking this question.
The reason WHY the new GTS is using Corsas, is because BMW M division has recently signed a OE supplier contract with Pirelli. I would advise you to stay away from Pirelli Corsa tires though. (at least for now) I have the luxury of hearing about things that the general public is not aware of, so I often try to steer people clear of a train wreak that is waiting to happen. It's your choice, but I believe Pirelli is having some quality control issues at the factory with this DOT approved R-compound tire. There is a standing NHTSA RECALL in effect right now that many consumers are unaware of. I'm sure Ben at Tire Rack knows about this... Maybe he will chime in with his thoughts on these tires? If the choice is between the PS2 Cup+ tires, and the Pirelli Corsa's, go with the PS2 Cup+.

Thanks for the great Info. It looks like they are only recalling the 285-35-19. Do you no of any other sizes that might be affected?
How big is the contract signed by BMW and Pirelli are gonna see regular M3 living the facory with some P-Zeros? |
