got an odd issue here...
hey guys,
Did a search and didn't come up with literally anything of relevance. This is intermittent and only happens when the car is left out in the sun for a few hours. When letting the clutch pedal out (weather it be sitting in neutral or driving, shifting gears) i can FEEL a thud from under the floorboard. The feeling is like a little midget under my car hitting my floorboard with a rubber mallet. I have looked up under my car and there is nothing out of the ordinary. I had someone in the car moving it, feeling it! and I was under the car and could not see anything wrong. Has anyone felt or heard of this before? It's driving me nuts.... |

I hear a slight metallic ping when letting the clutch out sometimes but I've been told that's not unusual in these older E92s and is nothing to worry about...

That's the little /// man reminding you, that this is not a normal car, and it will groan, clunk, ping, vibrate, chug. If you want a car that doesn't complain then you might as well have a shopping trolley. Stu, I am sure you recently experienced one didn't you?
