Looks fantastic. My vote would be powder coat or have your stockers painted in the short term. The black is sharp on the ZCP wheels - I went with something a little different to match the carbon fiber and opted to have mine painted BMW's Ferric Gray.

I really do like that gray, almost a gunmetal color. I'm not opposed to gunmetal, you get a little bit of both worlds with GM.

I'm in Columbus. You're welcome to come see them if it's something you're considering. I find it a nice offset to the carbon roof and mirrors.

Here's a few more photos. Put the OEM Carbon mirror caps on a few weekends ago, and the wheels/carbon mirrors/tint look great together, IMO.

I used a BMW paint code for the wheels I obtained from my local deaer, and had an outfit called 'Alloy Wheel Repair' do the work. After about 4 tries, they finally got it right. I will say that they stuck by their product and did what they could to make it right - however, would I use them again? Probably not. Regarding the clear-bra - I too have mine wrapped. It's worth it. On my M I did the whole hood, front fenders, front bumper, headlights, mirrors, and behind the bumper area's behind the rear wheels. I'm doing the same to the 'new' S2000 in two weeks. Looking forward to seeing the car. |

I'm down in Cincy, but drive to Middletown everyday.
There were a couple rim refurbishing shops in Dayton (Kettering if I remember right). Sure they could powder coat them, or go with the Forgeline which is based in Dayton. I had a wheel repaired by Buckeye Wheel & Rim, but there was another shop on the same street (Gateway Circle) Last edited by drrust; 06-04-2016 at 07:23 PM.. |

I've been to forgeline and they are just too expensive and I don't really like any of their rim styles. |

Yeah I know Forgelines are pricey. A lot of club racers use them. They used to sponsor a HPDE event out at Putnam Park, not sure if they are still doing that or not, as the last one I went to was about 10 years ago (before kids).
