Wheel Fitment Question

I tired looking but could not find anything concrete.

I have a track set of wheels/tires 18x10 ET25 Epex EC7 wrapped with Dunlop Z2 Start Specs 275/35/18.

The car setup is KW sleeve overs about 1" drop all around give or take. And I have Vorshlag camber plates. Align spec is -3.28 in the front and -2.28 in the rear.

I am running a 12 MM spacer in the front to clear the spring perch, the gap is paper thin without it. And I do not have another smaller spacer to use before an upcoming track day.

My concern is that with this setup, at full lock and/or compression on track, will the tires pull the fender? I know it is sometimes an issue on the E36, was curious to see if that may be a concern as well for the E9x platform that someone has experienced.

Thanks

i think you will be fine. I ran before with kw clubsport (1 finger from tire to fender) with 18x10.5 285/35/18 rs3 + 5mm spacer and didnt touch anything.

I recommend you check tire temps at the track. I found that -3 was too much camber for me, outside shoulders were not getting enough heat in them or rolling over enough on the tracks I run.

Backed it down to -2.5 and took some air out and the front tires seem happier.

Your experience might vary based on the type of tracks you frequent.
