Auto123.com Review - Laguna Seca
A Canadian publication.
Quote:
The M3 is equally at ease on the track and on byroads. Every little detail has been carefully studied to create the ultimate compact sedan. BMW showcases all its motoring expertise with this wonderful V8. The center console with armrest is the only black spot in terms of ergonomics. The M3 lineup expands with the return of the sedan. The multiple driving aids of the M3 allow the driver to feel confident in a hurry. The M3 is an exceptional car at a fairly reasonable price.

That's the best-looking photo of Fox Red I've seen! Like Cinnamon with a tan--hope it looks like that IRL.

Look at that first photo and tell me you can't see the rear fender flares?
What was that girl at the Ultimate Drive event talking about?

Right--see a two can system in my future. Or, at least paint it black!

If Fox Red really looks that way IRL, I don't think it would look too bad with even the Blue exterior. I need to see it in person. I'm pretty conservative on interior colors and will most likely go black leather on an Alpine White car.
I wonder what the muffler would look like polished? I assume it's comprised of stainless steel, and would polish out beautifully. I wonder if that would be better or worse? I don't think I will be changing anything out on my car, so polishing is an option. I'm not so sure about some of the details in that article. Aluminum content in the crankshaft? Dry sump lubrication? They also hint that the console mounted power button allows you to count on the full 414 hp. Positive review though. |

edit: and it aint like the shot is taken from a low camera angle! The camera angle is actually elevated! OMFG. imagine what it is like from the point of view of the guy you just passed...AHHH! LOL. I think swapping out to a "pretty" polished aftermarket unit will be the first priority.
