Quarter Mile and Dyno thread for E90/E92/E93

Hey guys,

There's a sticky in another forum on quarter miles, but it's part of another thread and doesn't have much data there, so I thought it would be fun to start a new one.

Can you guys post your 1/4 mile time and trap speed and any dyno numbers if you have them?

EDIT: If you have dyno numbers, please include if it's Mustang dyno or Dynojet. And include what track you ran the 1/4 mile at for elevation purposes.

I can edit the thread and add them here as people submit for easy reference.

Let's see your numbers!

Why would it matter what rod bearings he has?

I'm a motorhead..... just bought a 13 M3 convert with 5Kmiles and auto... How quick and what type of speed will it pull in the quarter. Also, any way simple to improve the bottom end performance ?

Simple = Cat delete + tune

Don't expect miracles in the bottom end performance department though. This engine isn't designed for that.

135mph with 517whp seems off (even if it's reading low)

Garage List
I have a question about launching my 2013 M3 coupe- 6mt, fresh PSS tires, and no iDrive.
It seems that pushing the M button and 3,900 rpm works well. Have not been to the drag strip yet but I have been practicing some out in front of the house.

Any thoughts on special tire pressures to maximize bite? And that second gear shift comes so quickly that hit the rev limiter unless I shift a bit early. Is ET effected if the rev limiter kicks in? Power seems to recover quickly.
