FS: BBS LM 19x9.5 and 19x11 Diamond Black in Excellent Condition

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
Sold

Item Interest
The BBS LMs need no introduction. Up for sale is my set in rare 19x9.5 ET32 and 19x11 ET25 configuration (no tires). The finish for the center is Diamond Black. All finish is original.

The wheels are in excellent used condition. This set was my strictly street nice setup, has never seen the track, snow or abuse of any kind. A handful of tiny paint chips that have been touched up. The defects can only be observed from 2 feet away and it takes a while to find them if you are really looking for them. Nothing out of the ordinary for wheels that have been driven. They still look new from more than 2 feet away.

The pictures in this thread are all high-res. Feel free to save them to your desktop to inspect the details.

Wheels Specs:
Front: BBS Model LM280
* Size: 19x9.5
* PCD: 5x120
* Offset: +32

Rear: BBS Model LM281
* Size: 19x9.5
* PCD: 5x120
* Offset: +25

Fitment Notes:
These sit perfectly flush with the fenders without spacers. Another huge plus of this configuration is the much deeper lip for both front and rear. Please see the pictures. I ran F265/R285 and F275/R295 tires without any rubbing while moderately lowered. These also clear the 18Z Brembo calipers with 265mm and 255mm rotors as shown in the pictures. I do not know if they will clear 380mm rotors though. Please very fitment on your end. I cannot be sure about clearance on various BBK setups that I have no experience with.

BBS manufacturing utilizes a ingenuine PFS ring system. These wheels are 82MM bore and designed from the factory to accept a range of 82MM PFS rings to fit on a variety of BMW cars with different sizes. This particular set are already equipped with 82MM-74MM PFS rings with hub bore of 74MM. You can run 82MM-72.5MM PFS rings to install on 72.5MM hub bore M cars: E9X M3, F8X M3/4 and E60 M5. PFS rings are widely available at just $15 per corner. Or alternatively I ran 74.1mm - 72.56mm hub rings perfectly fine for years.

Located in SoCal. $4200 picked up OR $4400 Shipped to the lower 48.
The price is set very competitively for a quick sale. Please no low ball offers. I'd like to mention that I originally paid almost 6K plus CA tax, just to highlight this deal.

A number of people inquired about shipping the wheels. I've gone ahead and found the original boxes the wheels came with. I'm now able to ship at buyer's expense.

Didn’t want to bug until you considered shipping, but did you have any pictures of the rear of the faces? Are they just true 74.1 hubs or PFS rings?

I do not have pictures of the rear faces. I've already packaged the wheels in the boxes and not interested in taking them out. The back of the center is in perfect condition because it's never been exposed to the element. Like any wheels that have been mounted tires there are handling marks on the back lip. Nothing unusual.

The wheels have 74.1 hubs. You can order PFS aluminum rings. I've been running ABS plastic 74.1-72.56 rings without any issue. I think they are $10 for a set of 4. I buy a couple of sets and replace them when wheels are taken off (rotating or mounting new tires).

I only asked for pictures because it would have been the clearest answer to the question. Based on your answer, assuming these are 82mm hub BBS LM with 74.1 BBS PFS rings then using 74.1 to 72.5 hub rings.

No problem, just might be helpful if everyone knew they could just pop out the wrong size BBS PFS ring and swap in the 82mm to 72.5mm adapter. I have those laying around so I asked.

Thanks for chiming in. I'm no expert when it comes to BBS PFS rings. Apparently BBS produces a direct fit 82mm - 72.6mm ring, which is only $15 each https://europeanautosource.com/produ...ering-ring-kit. I think it a great option for running this set of wheels on the E9X M3 platform
