Which transmission will you choose?

Choice two does not apply to US.

I did not answer the poll because I am undecided and there is no choice for that. I will test drive both, and choose then.

In my current E46 M3 I have MT, the new M3 has to be DCT, next spring, and counting.........................

Could it be that BMW wants to wait for the the new DCT(?) to be developed before they introduce the car in U.S.?

I drive with 2 feet with my SMG. It is a pretty effective technique once you recalibrate your left leg to brake intead of clutch.
