BMW should offer velcro seats. Not as comfy when you're naked, but sure holds you tight in the turns.

Cheers.

Dunno, I have the black Novillo leather and it's really sweet. My wife loves it...ask your wife/GF what feels better unless you don't have one, then go with whatever...but I will agree with some of the other posts that ppl will look at you funny for buying a 70k car with cloth on the seats LOL. From an upkeep standpoint, I have had some cars in the past with cloth or part cloth and that part gets pilled/dingy faster and its harder to get stains out of it. If you like the cloth, go for it but don't choose it because you want to save $$ for a mod. When you're paying that much for the car, you want to be totally happy with your options!

Those are the kind of people I don't want to associate with. You can get leather seats in just about any vehicle available now. You can't help the ignorance of some people or let that influence how you option your car.

I got the cloth, and after a week am still happy with my choice. My reasons:

1. In AZ, leather gets quite hot. Nothing worse than black leather after it was sitting in the sun all day.
2. Less slippery.
3. In the past I have owned lighter color leather, and without a lot of maintenance it always cracked, wore, and even stained. The worst was that I usually wear a black belt, and maybe I buy too cheap of belts, but I got a black line where my belt always rubbed the leather.

I am worried a little about resale being a little harder without leather, but I didn't buy the car to sell it. I was also worried about Jerez + black interior being too much "black", but the brushed aluminum trim breaks it up nicely. I will try to get some pics up to show it.

Speed Cloth is faster

Duh! That's why its called "Speed Cloth."

Seriously, my 2004 E46 M3 has cloth. I have never missed leather.

I test drove an E92 M3 with fox red interior and I thought it was beautiful,
but decided to get speed cloth in my new car.

My minivan has leather. It's great for wiping up spills quickly.
