Exhaust Mod Shop Review

I stopped by Zury Fabrications LLC this past Saturday in Eldridge MD to have the perforated exhaust modification done on my 2011 m3. I shot them a message on Facebook a couple days before and they promptly responded and knew exactly what mod I was referring to how to do the install. I came from Alexandria which took about 45 minutes.

The place was a little tricky to find (it's in the back corner of what seemed like several auto tuning/garage type businesses). I spent about half my Saturday there hanging out with the two guys who did the work, Brian and Joe. I felt very comfortable having them handle the car, and they kept me updated throughout the process. I asked them if I could snap some photos along the way and they were cool with that as well. They have AC and wifi in the office, so for most of my visit I was on my laptop. Pricing was reasonable as well.

They took a video for their Facebook page, so if they end up posting that I'll put a link in here. It sounds fantastic.

Highly recommend these guys!

I know typically only one side of the canister is opened up, but we decided to open both to fully weld the pipes. They did a great job with the welds when closing the canister back up, and when it's painted black the muffler is pretty much invisible.

Do you mind if I ask what this cost?
I'm in Pa, but would take the trip if the price is right.
Thanks.

Sure thing, it was $375 if the muffler was off the car, $450 if it was still on the car. An additional $25 to spray the canister with heat resistant black paint.

That's a good price.
Thanks for the info. I'll give them a call tomorrow, and if you don't mind I'll mention your post.

Good job was done here , looks perfect !
Price seems right too , but for me it was only the price of the full stainless steel full pipes .(done by myself)
And of course the perforated pipe method sounds really amazing..
Here is mine with pics and DIY video => http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=733817
BTW....Within about 1-2K miles it will sound even better and deeper .
Best mod. for our cars...."Ever" !
Thanks for sharing .

Thanks! I saw your post a while back, looks great. I wish I had the tools and welding experience to do this myself but I think in my case its best left to the professionals haha.

I love the sound, what an improvement over stock!

Yeah , it was not so easy because I had mine only opened on top side .
So really lack of space in there , but after almost three years I'm still really happy with this mod.
I've helped several people from all over the world with this mod. and of course all very happy.
Glad to hear ...You're happy too !
BTW....From stealth to a head turner .
Best thing is ... 0 drone .

Just got back from Zury Fabrications.
I basically spent the whole day there with Brian, and Joe.
Here's a couple pic's of the exhaust mod I had done.
Opened up all 4 sides, and welded all the way around the pipes.
Sounds amazing!!! Enjoyed the 100 mile ride home @ 90+mph
Excuse the pic's I only had my iPhone.[IMG]

Sweet! How do you like the sound of straight through version? I was torn between the two but ultimately decided on the perforated method.

The new shop looks like an improvement. They were in a tiny single bay when I had the mod done. Quality work.
