As long as you got he money... BMW will build it. Here is a typical special order M3 - I saw at the factory run BMW Zentrum in Munchen. Its not a frozen color but that does add too much to the "individual" price. |

I remember reading here that BMW NA is now approviing FG Individual orders. Not sure if anyone has actually purchased one yet though.

Looked into in June. Told no by advisor. Looks possible soon.
If you've seen the PremierMobilegroup.com wraps you may consider this option too. Still costs a few thousand extra and don't get stitching, etc - but these look pretty nice |

I love looking at "frozen" color options but I don't know how anyone actually owns one (given the maintenance, etc) unless their car is more of a "show" car than a "go" car.
You would ruin the paint at the track (and it isn't easily fixed), you would ruin the paint if a bird craps on it or if you don't clean off bug splatter ASAP, you can't polish it to get rid of swirls, etc. For a car that gets driven around town on the weekend, never sees a track and never sees bad weather then maybe. But, to me, that isn't what an M3 is about. So, beautiful to look at and drool over but only something I would own if the car was a show-type car.

Now you can, but not when I requested it back in March/Apr 2011. Even at the BMW M Fest in Germany in Jun 2011, when I met Christina Fleischer in person she said no Frozen Grey as of then. Seems like that changed in July 2011, but I already had another individual color approved.

Frozen colors are so bad ass!!!
On a side note, How are you supposed to take care of the paint? Wax, wash, polish... how does all that work?
