Either buy the real thing or something of solid quality (HRE, OZ, BBS, Advan..). Your OEM wheels will be far better quality than a typical "rep" wheel. Why would you want to get something lower quality than OEM?
HRE makes a wheel similar in style to the BBS FI (HRE S101 and S104). It's nearly the same price so I don't see much advantage there.

^^^ i dont know how you see that wheel in that picture as being even close to looking similar to the OP...
Work makes wheels that look similar to those BBS wheels and are significantly cheaper but will be more than reps....better quality though. |

i dont know if you have eyes.....but i would def consider them "similar"...... as i said they are not exact reps.....dont see anyone else trying to help the OP besides telling him there is no reason to buy anything less than $3000 wheels. (i have BBS RGR BTW) these are more close to the BBS FI. the ones in the pic are center locking so obv nothing will be exact. http://www.ebay.com/itm/20-Niche-Tar...bd38ff&vxp=mtr they come in 19" as well |

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

Love The Klassen wheels... they are still 1800/wheel.

Maybe it's just me, but isn't the point of buying the expensive wheels partly -because- they're expensive? Putting reproduction wheels on a BMW M3 is about the furthest along the rice-meter you can get, I'd say.
BBS FIs are awesome, but at that price, I'd probably get an ESS before BBS =) |

Because this is an educational forum (or at least I hope that it strives to be one). People post questions because they don't have a lot of knowledge on the topic. The OP may think that all wheels are created equally and not realize that replica wheels are almost always of horrible quality, bend easily, have sup-par finishes, little customer support, and are typically very heavy. I personally think its a waste of money to buy a wheel that is far lower quality than OEM. I would rather that the owner saved his money and happily kept his OEM wheels upon realizing that they are superior in every way to the reps he was considering.
