New M3/4 without a doubt, I can't believe you'd even ask this questions. Once you mod your E9X M3 and kill resale value in the process you will still want the new M3/4. That's a fact.

Well I'm expecting a little bit of common sense. The biggest gripe with E92 M3 platform is weight and brakes which F8X solves. I'm not even sure you need more power but we are still geting it too.

My next M3 will be more useful with the two extra doors. I'm tired of folding my seats to accommodate guests in the back seat.

I have owned 3 different E46 M3's only because i was reluctant to move to the E9X because of the V8 and the weight gain. Over time i switched to an E90 M3 because … well just because 4 doors (2 kids) and 8400 rpm made my day … every day.
Now, after driving the 435M Sport this weekend at a BMW event i am sure that i do not want the new M3/M4 as the new car is "over engineered" to the point that the soul and character is lost. Granted the 435M is not a true ///M car, but i am sure that the turbo engine in the new M3/4 is not going to work for me. The naturally aspirated V8 M3 is the last of a dying breed … call me old or out of date … i don't care because i like rock music, electric guitars, real boobs and manual transmissions. Sometimes you just have to work it like Jack White does in this awesome White Stripes live performance … guitar and drums only … not a bunch of computers trying to make everything perfect! PS: Look for the solo at 1:56 on the video below Cheers Last edited by scrammer; 02-12-2014 at 11:59 PM.. |

gotta thank the US for still making there performance engines with there balls instead of there brains. you got This new cute 3.0L inline six in the M4. where you got a 6.2L v8 in the corvette and a monster 5.4L Supercharged V8 in a GT500. also a viper with a V10. i also heard the new Zo6 is coming with a TT V8. not to mention they get ok to good MPG. what i am missing here?
on principle i might have to buy american next. |
