Long rant short.

Had family Member pay a Ticket that came In the mail for me while I was In Iran (in december). They Sent incorrect amount $348 instead of 438. just got a notice saying my license is suspended because I never paid. Insurance just notified me too. FUCK.

u can probably get it taken care of but you'll have to go to court and 'splain it to the judge...its gonna be a royal PIA though

funny, when you overpay it'll take forever to get your money back

when you underpay, they suspend your license and it'll take forever to get it back

Typical DMV/Court bullshit.

I had a $60 seatbelt ticket from Mono county (300 miles away from San Diego) spiral into a $548 fine, suspended license and the car towed (Another $170 to get it out) because they lost the check I sent them though registered mail with delivery confirmation.

Funniest thing is that the $60 check I sent did get cashed a year after all this bullshit happened. And i was under the impression that the checks can only get cached within the first 90 days.
