I think I'm too late

Been working with my local dealer and they are completely out of allocations, have to wait and see if they get any M3 allocations for May. Sales Manager even called around to other dealerships trying to trade for a build.

Anyone have any advice? It's my own fault for not ordering earlier. Really have no interest in a turbo M3.

Pick up the phone and call any of the forum sponsors here. Allocations are clearly running out, but they do exist. Just a matter of how hard your dealer really wants to work for you in my opinion.

Well looks like my local dealer is able to get me an allocation, no offense to GOLFRRR, I appreciate the quote but trading in my existing vehicle in ohio offers me considerable tax savings so I will be going with my local dealer.

Now I just can't make the decision on 6MT vs. DCT

Good news for you... there's about 600 threads on here that will further confuse you about which is the right choice.

Just make sure your dealer doesn't screw this up or else you get no car. If there is any doubt, go with Ryan at Steve Thomas. If you get to cute to save a few bucks and the deal falls through its gonna be some painful reading on the forum.

I'm dead serious bro. And don't let them boost up the price at the last second bc they got an allocation from another dealer or some other lame excuses.

If you want peace of mind and crisp execution of your order you gotta go with the guy who sells boatloads of these cars every day. Nuff said.

+1. Did the dealership confirm somehow factually they have an allocation for you? Or was this "we have one", simply verbal or by email?

Yes! And how many times have we seen someone put down a deposit, and then somewhere down the line, boom! no car!

We want you to get your car man! We don't want to see sad posts after they're all gone!

call a high volume dealer. A lot of them are likely in major metro areas around the country. Think big, LA, NYC, etc...

Production # in hand, now if I could only get an answer on if the Homelink mirror is a easy plug and play swap with the regular autodimming mirror.

Anyone?

Anyways ordered

Interlagos Blue/Speed Cloth/Titanium Shadow
6MT/Navigation/Rear PDC/BMW Apps

I don't need anything else, prefer the cloth manual seats to leather.

Why don't you add "Automatic High Beams" it's $250 if I'm not mistaken gives you the Homelink/ Compass Mirror automatically.

Hmm that's interesting, I'll look into that.

edit: yup the website confirms that to be the case, can't believe I didn't notice that earlier. Thanks!

Maybe try Braman BMW in Miami, they are a huge dealer and normally get a lot of allocations. Just a shot.
